‘Stubash’ with the Stuba Team in Dublin

Stuba hosted the travel trade for their ‘Stubash’ yesterday evening in The Dean Hotel, Dublin.

Don Clarke (DCM) along with Angela Muir, Head of Sales UK & Ireland, Matt Stuart, Chief Commerical Officer and Sarah Clayton Turner, Head of Marketing hosted an informal evening to thank the trade for all their support of the company in the last few years.

This is the first time the team have hosted an intimate event like this in Dublin and they will be celebrating 10 years in Ireland next year so keep your eyes peeled.

Matt Stuart, CCO, thanked the trade for their business and support and spoke about Stuba’s commitment to the trade in Ireland.

Matt mentioned that Stuba has invested in the company’s marketing and technology in the last year to work with their trade partners and improve the Stuba experience. They work on a ‘curated hotels’ approach which allows them to offer a smaller number of properties but keep them more relevant to the trade partner booking.

Prizes on the night included a 4-night stay in a Stuba property in Porto, some Stuba vouchers and M&S vouchers. The M&S vouchers were hidden around the room, so the prize winners had to find them, congratulations to Shay Byrne from Killiney Travel and Toni Birthistle from Sunway for their finding skills.

I have worked in the travel industry for seven years, from working in American Holidays and The Travel Corporation I have a wealth of knowledge of all aspects of travel. Before joining ITTN I worked for Facebook which gave me the inside knowledge of the wonderful world of social media. I have a BSc in Event Management and am also a qualified beauty therapist (which definitely comes in handy in this business). Recently I joined the AWTE Ireland committee and I am enjoying working with and connecting with the network of women in travel.
