Strikes Threaten EasyJet Flights to Portugal and France

EasyJet ground handling staff in Faro and Oporto in Portugal are threatening to walk out on Wednesday 15^th and Friday 17^th August, while easyJet pilots in France are planning action on 15th, 17^th and 19^th August.

EasyJet said it hopes any disruption in Portugal will be limited and said the French strikes would only impact on French-based crews, so not all flights would be affected.

French staff are in a dispute with the airline over pay and discussions are continuing with the French pilots union SNPL.
