Stena Line Launches Money-Saving Rugby World Cup Offer Ahead of All Blacks Clash

Stena Line has launched a special Rugby World Cup offer ahead of Ireland’s massive quarter final clash with New Zealand this weekend.

To prepare for this Saturday’s game (but not jinx it), Stena Line is providing fans with an incredible offer.

For only €299 return fans can take a car and up to 4 people by ferry on the Rosslare to Cherbourg route.  The offer is valid on specific dates around the quarter-final and semi-final.

Compared to current flight prices on those dates, fans could save up to €3,100 by taking the ferry, based on 4 passengers flying from Cork, or €1,400, based on flying from Dublin.

Should Ireland be eliminated, the journey will be fully refundable to ensure that fans can secure their spot to France but get their money back if things don’t go Ireland’s way. With daily departures 6 days a week, Stena Line offers the most frequent ferry service to the European Continent ensuring there are plenty of options for rugby fans.

Stena Line added an additional ship, Stena Vision, to its Rosslare to Cherbourg route earlier this year.  Stena Vision offers 485 passenger cabins – the widest selection of cabins across the company’s ferries, with Suites, Deluxe or Superior cabins, as well as Accessible cabins available.

As well as a choice of dining, restaurant and bar options, the Stena Vision also has a luxurious Pure Nordic Spa offering beauty treatments, saunas, and Jacuzzis, meaning you can either grab a seat at the bar or truly relax in the spa on the journey ahead of the big games.

Orla Noonan, Stena Line Travel Commercial Manager, said:

“We are offering Ireland rugby fans the opportunity to be a part of history, as Ireland edge their way towards the final. We’re not jinxing it; we’re just showing our support. Passengers can travel to Paris in their own car on our Rosslare to Cherbourg service and relax in our choice of restaurants and bars onboard and get ready to bring that home support to Paris.  We’re behind the team 100% and want to offer our customers the chance to be a part of it.”

She also pointed out that fans who miss out on tickets for the big match can savour the craic and atmosphere in the Rugby World Cup Rugby Village – as Ireland fans flood the city just to be close to the action, the atmosphere in Paris around the matches is sure to be electric. Any of those availing of Stena Line’s latest offer, whether at the stadium or in the city, can get to the heart of the action and back for an incredible price.
