Visit Wales, together with many other Welsh bodies, celebrated St David’s Day with great style at Glencairn, the residence of the British Ambassador to Ireland.
The evening was hosted by H.E. Dominick Chilcott and the Welsh delegation was led by the Welsh Government Deputy Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism, Ken Skates MA.
It really was all about Wales as the guests enjoyed typical Welsh food washed down with Brains beer or Penderyn single malt Welsh whiskey. However, the tourism message was quite simple: they want more Irish visitors!
But it was not all about food and drink, as the very talented Cerys Matthews brought along her music, and really wooed the guests.
Meanwhile Llwynhelyg Country House in Carmarthenshire ,has been named as one of the top ten best bed and breakfast in the World, just two years after it first opened .
