A new collection of villas on the Greek island of Skopelos is now available to book through Solmar Villas.
Known as the Emerald Isle and familiar as the filming location for the ABBA based blockbuster hit, Mamma Mia, Skopelos retains an authentic Greek charm and is reached only by boat from neighbouring Skiathos.
Skopelos is known for its unspoiled natural beauty, and the villas available all make the most of the stunning scenery with infinity pools, hilltop locations, and sea or mountain views. As there is no airport on the island, Solmar is including free ferry transfers with all villa pricing, along with free meet and greet airport transfer service from Skiathos airport to the port. On sale now, the Skopelos villas can be booked for arrivals from May 2025 onwards.
Julie Blake, CEO, said: “Skopelos is familiar to many as the filming location for Mama Mia and those beautiful backdrops are what we all think of when we picture a Greek island holiday. With no airport on the island it has remained untouched by mass tourism, and with our free airport and ferry transfers, we’re making sure that getting there is as easy and stress-free as being there.”
In total, 11 new properties are on sale on the island, based mostly in Skopelos Town, with one in Panormos on the west coast. Prices start from €989 per week, villa only, in May 2025 for the one-bedroom Villa Arpaki – a blue and white cottage with outdoor kitchen dining area, pool and shady terrace.
In the luxe collection, and the largest property, Villa Lyra Stargaze has three en-suite bedrooms, sleeping up to six. There are modern open plan living spaces and a large pool and terrace area with views over the countryside towards the sea. Seven nights from €2,889 villa only arriving 3 May 2025.
Prices quoted include Greek Climate Tourist Tax, meet and greet Skiathos airport transfers and ferry transportation from Skiathos port to Skopelos.
All Solmar Villas properties can be booked accommodation only or as part of a flight-inclusive package, with ABTA and ATOL protection. Car hire, insurance and transfers can also be added.
