Travel Counsellors Ireland has announced the date for its 2014 Conference, which will take place from Thursday 27th March – Saturday 29th March. Over 120 delegates will be in attendance, including more than 55 of the company’s agents and partners plus the company’s management team, head office staff and a host of guest speakers and suppliers.
Cathy Burke, General Manager of Travel Counsellors Ireland, says: “We are looking at suitable venues and hope to be in a position to announce the location in a few weeks’ time, but we wanted to announce the dates so that delegates will have plenty of notice.”
As the most important event on the company calendar in Ireland, the conference will enable the company’s Travel Counsellors, who all run their own travel businesses from home, the chance to come together and celebrate the company’s success.
Suppliers in attendance will be exhibiting at the special Pow Wow session, giving agents a chance to meet directly with representatives from a host of airlines, tour operators, tourist boards and other suppliers to learn more about their products and destinations.
Agents are also rewarded for their hard work at the annual awards ceremony and Gala Dinner, which will take place on Friday evening.
Cathy Burke adds: “Holding the conference from Thursday until Saturday last year proved to be a huge success with our sponsors and TCs alike, so we have decided to have a similar format for 2014.”
