Blue1, a fully owned airline of the SAS Group that was integrated into SAS operations during 2012, is now available for deployment within the entire SAS route network and, for this summer, Blue1 will operate the SAS morning flight SK537/538 on the SAS Dublin to Copenhagen route.
SAS livery aircrafts will continue to serve all the SAS direct routes – Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo.
Alan Sparling, Ireland Manager of Scandinavian Airlines, said: “This is great news, not only for the Irish market but overall for SAS in Europe. The additional fleet capacity, by the integration of Blue1 into SAS operations, means we have a larger fleet and greater choice of aircraft types to serve our three Dublin routes, Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen.
“Our customers can expect the same excellent service they have come to expect of SAS when they fly with Blue1 and we look forward to welcoming them on-board.”
