As part of the ongoing restructuring plan within Scandinavian Airines under the banner ‘4 Excellence NG’, SAS has decided to assign Alan Sparling (currently SAS Country Manager Ireland) to act as GSA for SAS in the Irish market.
“Alan already does a fantastic job in representing the interests of SAS in the Irish market and he will continue to do so,” said Hans Dyhrfort, General Manager SAS – Region Western Europe. “Nothing changes in terms of the commitment SAS shows to our travel trade and corporate customers in Ireland.”
After 47 years flying into Ireland and with an unprecedented 26 flights week from Dublin to Scandinavia this summer, SAS remain as dedicated as ever to the Irish market and particularly to the Irish travel trade, who have shown tremendous loyalty to SAS over almost five decades,” said Alan Sparling. “I personally look forward to continuing our great work together.”
The handover will become effective from 1st June 2013.
