Scandinavian Airlines has re-introduced complimentary coffee and tea on all European routes, including domestic flights in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Alan Sparling, Country Manager, SAS Ireland, said: “We are delighted with this recent improvement on our short-haul economy service. Complimentary coffee and tea in Economy is one the most asked for products by our customers and we are very pleased to once again be able to offer this service.
“This re-introduction is in line with our new strategy, 4Excellence, and is one of the first steps towards an improved product offering. SAS are always working to improve customer satisfaction and we believe that this service will help us in continuing to do so.”
SAS expects to serve approximately 70,000 cups of coffee or tea a day, totalling 25 million annually.
