Ryanair Traffic up 7% in December with 14.5 Million Guests

Ryanair closed out 2025 on a strong note, reporting a 7% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic for December, with 14.5 million guests carried across its network. In comparison, December 2024 saw Ryanair carry 13.6 million passengers.

This December, Ryanair operated over 82,000 flights, up from approximately 77,380 flights in December 2024. Despite the increase in flights, the load factor remained steady at 92% across both years.

With nearly 900,000 additional passengers taking to the skies this December compared to the same month last year, Ryanair’s performance reaffirms its position as one of Europe’s leading low-cost carrier heading into 2026.
