Ryanair Passenger Volumes Jump 10% in September

Ryanair carried 19.1 million passengers in September, representing year-on-year growth of 10%, latest monthly traffic statistics for the airline show.

The airline operated more than 106,000 flights across its route network – which covers Europe, northern Africa and parts of the Middle East – last month.

Load factor – an important measure of how full an airline’s planes are, as opposed to just how many seats it sold – was stable at 94% for the month.

On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers were up 8% at 193.6 million.
