Silversea has collaborated with the world-renowned Royal Opera House to bring an exclusive series of performances to guests on a unique voyage. The 10-day Silver Wind voyage will depart on 12th August from Barcelona to Civitavecchia, Rome, and feature two evening performances, a Tea Dance with pianist Michael Robinson, and a sing-along performance by Royal Opera House artists.
Performers will also present a discussion on ‘a day in the life of the Royal Opera House’ as part of the enrichment programme with guests having an opportunity to meet the artists.
“Silversea is always looking to enhance our guests’ onboard experience and we are delighted to bring this exclusive partnership to our loyal guests,” said Lisa McAuley, Silversea Commercial Director, UK and Ireland. “We are confident that this partnership will be one of our most popular enrichment programmes yet.”
The prestigious Royal Opera House is recognised for outstanding performances of traditional opera and leading the way for new content commissioned from some of today’s leasing composers and artists. Performers onboard Silver Wind include Andrew Macnair as Tenor, Elizabeth Key as Mezzo Soprano, Katy Batho as Soprano and Michael Robinson as pianist.
