Riviera Travel has released the inaugural itinerary programmes for its two new-build river ships, Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose, which set sail in 2025.
Riviera announced its fleet expansion last week – introducing both new ships.
The 178-guest Riviera Radiance will operate six different voyages on the Danube. They comprise:
* Blue Danube – eight-days, visiting Vienna, Dürnstein, Budapest and Bratislava, departing April to October 2025, with prices from €2,149pp.
* Blue Danube for solo travellers – eight-days, again taking in Vienna, Dürnstein, Budapest and Bratislava, departing 31 March 2025 and 3 November 2025. Prices from €2,999pp.
* Budapest to the Black Sea – fifteen-days with guided tours of Veliko Tarnovo, Arbanassi, the Churches of Ivanovo, Belogradchik Rock and Mesolithic Lepenski Vir. Departing May, June and September 2025, with prices from €4599pp.
* New Year on the Danube – six-days with New Year’s celebrations in Vienna and ports of call in Budapest and Bratislava. Departing 28 December 2025, prices start from €2299pp.
* Christmas on the Danube – eight-days, visiting Bratislava, Wachau Valley, Melk, Salzburg, Linz, Vienna and Budapest. Departing 21 December 2025, with prices from €2799pp.
* Danube’s Imperial Cities & Yuletide Markets – six-days, visiting Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava. Prices from €1499pp, departing December 2025.
The 114-guest Riviera Rose will operate on the Douro, with a Highlights of the Douro Valley & Salamanca cruise. the first setting sail 1 April, 2025.
The eight-day cruise will feature tours of Porto’s old town, Mateus Palace and Castelo Rodrigo, as well as port tastings and a stop in Salamanca. Prices start from €2449pp.
Itineraries will be available to book from 29 February, 2024.
Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose – launching in March and April 2025, respectively – will feature several firsts for the river cruise line, including bearing the Riviera name on their bows.

Guests can save up to €350pp as part of an early booking offer on select Douro and Danube itineraries on Riviera Rose and Riviera Radiance, when booked by 28 March, 2024.
