RCI Club Royal Celebrates With Style at Cliff House Hotel

Royal Caribbean International chose the iconic and highly rated Cliff House Hotel in Ardmore, Co Waterford, to recognise the top agency sales performers on the island of Ireland, all members of the RCI Club Royal. Ben Bouldin, together with the RCI Ireland sales team of Holly Wilkinson, Jennifer Callister and Michela Banks, were there to celebrate the second birthday of Club Royal, the loyalty incentive programme of RCI.

To celebrate the second birthday, Ben Bouldin, Sales Director for Ireland and the UK, announced a number of changes to the Club Royal programme that will make it an even better experience for its agent partners, as well as a range of new incentive and engagement opportunities. He told Irish Travel Trade News “that the objective was to make it easy to book and to ensure that travel agents are equipped to sell their products. RCI is investing in the market at every level, with the ability to get to all agents by providing a booking engine that is as easy as it has ever been.”

Club Royal has made some important changes to its membership criteria. Club Royal will now have three tiers to its membership: Blue, Gold and Platinum memberships have been given a refresh, while high-achieving Gold members will be awarded for their efforts with an automatic promotion to Platinum.

Club Royal has launched a Ride the Wave to Hong Kong Competition, its latest and most exciting competition yet. Over 1,400 Club Royal members will have the opportunity to participate for the chance to win one of 15 places on a once-in-a-lifetime, five-day all-expenses paid holiday to Hong Kong.

At the event, Claire Mulligan from Clubworld Travel in Northern Ireland was announced as one of the winners of the current Count Down to South Africa competition.

Through this event, Royal Caribbean sought to reinforce how grateful it is for the ongoing support of its agent partners and strives to provide them with the best training and information, as well as industry-leading incentives and offers.

The Travel Industry Services (TIS) Partnership is available from 3rd October. The bespoke Royal Caribbean TIS booking service will enable members to easily and seemlessly book a Royal Caribbean holiday using their Club Royal pre-paid MasterCard and redeem their holiday cashback.

Throughout the afternoon, all guests participated in a range of group activities, which included archery, painting, foraging, team building on the beach and golf . That evening it was  dinner  in the highly acclaimed Michelin star restaurant.
