Ramble Worldwide Expands to Middle East with Walking Holiday Tours of Saudi Arabia

UK-based walking holiday specialist Ramble Worldwide has expanded its range of expert guided walking holidays to the Middle East with the introduction of Saudi Arabia.

The company is offering four new itineraries departing later this year, ranging from seven to 11 nights, including a dedicated women’s adventure. These tours offer walking enthusiasts, the opportunity to discover Saudi Arabia’s wonderous mountains, deserts, cultural highlights, and warm hospitality through Ramble Worldwide’s trusted, small group walking tours.

The new and unique, guided Saudi Arabia walking holidays will reveal breathtaking and diverse natural landscapes, rich heritage combining ancient past with modern future and unexpected culinary experiences. From dramatic desert treks across Hisma and Tayma to exploring the ancient Nabataean tombs of Hegra and the historic streets of Jeddah’s Al Balad, the itineraries combine awe-inspiring scenery with authentic local experiences, desert camping and, as always, led by expert, local leaders.

The highlight of the new range is the Women’s Adventure- Best of Saudi Arabia – a tour led by a local female guide, designed for women to explore the Kingdom safely, comfortably, and authentically. Combining desert adventures, cultural discovery and connecting with inspiring local women.

Wayne Perks, managing director of Ramble Worldwide, commented: “We are thrilled to be the first walking holiday specialist in the UK to offer itineraries to Saudi Arabia, this reflects our mission to connect people, cultures and nature through shared walking experiences.  As Saudi Arabia opens further to curious travellers, we’re genuinely excited to give our customers the chance to experience the Kingdom in the way we believe travel should be done — slowly, thoughtfully and on foot. We are especially proud to introduce the Saudi Arabia Women’s Adventure; an empowering and authentic travel experience designed exclusively for women.

Our customers aren’t just ticking destinations off a list. They want to understand a place, to meet the people, hear the stories and share the experience with like-minded travellers.

We design our small-group walking holidays to create space for real connection, both with the landscape and with each other and as we continue to grow our winter sun programme, Saudi Arabia feels like a natural next step for us. It offers warmth, vast open landscapes and a real sense of discovery — all with the depth and authenticity that defines a Ramble Worldwide holiday.”
