Rain Can’t Stop the Winners at Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Dublin Qualifier

The 2024 Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup/Dublin Qualifying Event took place on Wednesday 25 September 2024 at Powerscourt Golf Club, Co. Wicklow. Despite the terrible weather, the event was a huge success with 63 competitors who played 18 holes.

Winners

• Men’s Nearest the Pin – Shay Burke
• Ladies Nearest the Pin – Olwen McKinney
• Best Gross Score – Hugo Kean (32 pts)
• 1^st Place/ Winner – Glenn Taggart (39 pts – Handicap 10.1)
• 2^nd Place – Carl Lonergan (36 pts)
• 3^rd Place – Paul Sullivan (36 pts)

The Grand Final of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup will take place between Saturday 1 December and Sunday 7 December in Turkiye. Winners will be treated to round trip business class flights to Turkey with Turkish Airlines and 5 nights’ accommodation at Gloria Hotel, Antalya.

The finalist winner will also have hospitality at the Turkish Airlines Open Leading players at the Grand Final of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup and will have the opportunity to progress to play in the Pro-Am at the Turkish Airlines Open with a leading European Tour Professional.
