Qatar Airways Looking for Senior Cargo Sales Executive in Dublin

Qatar Airways has announced that it is looking to fill a senior sales executive role in Dublin.

The airline is looking for a Senior Cargo Sales Executive. The successful candidate will join the Qatar Airways UK & Ireland Cargo Team, and would be based in Dublin.

Qatar Airways said: “As we continue on our journey of expansion and growth in the Ireland market, we are thrilled to introduce this brand new role. This new position will offer the successful candidate a unique opportunity to plan, direct and control the selling and marketing activities for Qatar Airways Cargo across Ireland. This is a highly varied role covering a wide scope of responsibilities, with the freedom to work independently and take ownership of this dynamic market.” 

Key Responsibilities include:
•    Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and maximize Qatar Airways’ presence in the market
•    Identify and prospect new customers through market research and outreach
•    Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key customers and partners
•    Negotiate pricing initiatives which are consistent with revenue goals and pricing guidelines
•    Maximise yields and revenue following Qatar Airways strategy and commercial plan when selling available capacity and products.
•    Collaborate with internal colleagues and handling partners to ensure the smooth handling and delivery of cargo
•    Analyse internal and external data sources to evaluate current performance, market position, opportunities and development areas to identify appropriate actions
•    Promote Qatar Airways Cargo products and support their development in Ireland, maintaining a high standard of service to customers
•    Support with tenders, quoting and reservations in line with commercial requirements
•    Promote online distribution with a particular focus on driving share of consignments booked through online platforms
•    Plan and maintain regular sales activities through the CRM tool
•    Provide timely, accurate and relevant sales insights reports and forecasts
