Qantas Unveils World First – Onboard Exercise and Wellness Zone

Qantas has unveiled a world first – an onboard exercise and wellbeing area on its Airbus A350 jets.

It is the latest element of Qantas’ new cabin design announcements that form part of its Project Sunrise promotion.

Project Sunrise is the Australian flag carrier’s planned non-stop flight routes between Sydney and London and Sydney and New York; which are due to take off in 2025 and will be the world’s longest non-stop flights.

The new wellness area will include exercise area, hydration stations and healthy snacks for all passengers.

Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce said the airline is emphasising all seat classes with its wellness programme, with a large proportion of the new routes being made up of premium economy and economy seats.
