Qantas has added four flights to cater for Rugby World Cup and NRL fans ahead of Grand Finals this Sunday.
Qantas will operate an additional four wide-body Airbus A330 services: 1st October QF175 departing Sydney 12.30, arriving Auckland 18.25 ; 1st October QF176 departing Auckland 19.50, arriving Sydney 20.25 ; 3rd October QF175 departing Sydney 12.45, arriving Auckland 17.40 ; 3rd October QF176 departing Auckland 19.10, arriving Sydney 20.45.
Qantas acting Regional General Manager New Zealand and Pacific Islands, Shirley Field, said Qantas has now added a total of eight flights to cater for demand. “We have injected over 1,700 seats into the market and received an overwhelming response. We will continue to monitor demand and assess where further capacity is required.”
