
Pegasus Airlines is launching direct flights between Istanbul and Ljubljana on 26 January 2026, adding Slovenia as the airline’s 55th country in its growing international network. This new connection between two important European cities will offer affordable and comfortable travel options while enhancing connectivity between Türkiye and Slovenia.
A ceremony was held at Sabiha Gökçen Airport to mark the launch of the İstanbul–Ljubljana flights. The event was attended by Gorazd Rencelj – Ambassador of Slovenia to Türkiye, Bengü Yüksel Sarıca – Counsellor for Economic Affairs, Mustafa Başar Arıoğlu – Honorary Consul General of Slovenia, Aysun Deniz – Assistant to the Honorary Consul General of Slovenia, Kerem Maybek – Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer of ISG, and Hanita Binti Ahmad – Chief Financial Officer of ISG. Also present were Güliz Öztürk – Chief Executive Officer of Pegasus Airlines, Onur Dedeköylü – Chief Commercial Officer of Pegasus Airlines, Emre Pekesen – Director of Network Planning at Pegasus Airlines, Boğaç Uğurlutekin – Director of Marketing at Pegasus Airlines, members of the International Brand Team of Pegasus Airlines, and numerous guests.

Operating three weekly return flights
Flights on the new Türkiye – Slovenia route will operate three weekly in both directions. Flights from Sabiha Gökçen International Airport will depart at 09:40 on Mondays and Saturdays and 15:05 on Thursdays, while flights from Ljubljana Airport will depart at 10:50 and 16:15 on the same days.
