PATA Promotes in Dublin at the Loft Bar

The Pacific Area Tourism Association (PATA) UK / Ireland Chapter, led by President Christopher Crampton from the ICS Travel Group, had a great turnout for their very successful workshop in Dublin’s Loft Bar in Dame Lane.

There was a really relaxed atmosphere as the many trade attendees lapped up the information, coupled with drinks and Oriental food.

The PATA UK and Ireland chapter is the hub of activity for Pacific Asia. They have a community of over 5,000 travel professionals who strive to be travel experts for a wide array of destinations throughout the region. The goal is to educate the UK and Irish travel trade by hosting events throughout the UK and Ireland, where members can keep up-to-date about the latest happenings in Pacific Asia.

The region is a treasure trove of desirable destinations – Amazing Thailand alone attracted close on 70,000 Irish visitors last year. The 13 suppliers present included destinations, airlines, destination management companies and other tourist entities.

The PATA team also hosted travel agents quiz nights,pre and post the Dublin event, in Limerick and Belfast.

It was all about Finnair as Jialng briefs the Oscar Travel trio of Mobin Thomas,Meenunol Pillai and Vinod Pillai.
