Passing of Golf Tourism Pioneer – Sean Skehan – Announced

The death of pioneering travel agent, Sean Skehan has been announced.

Sean – the founder of Killester Travel, in north Co Dublin, and the pioneer, across nearly 50 years, of sports package travel, particularly golf trips and tours – sadly died on New Year’s Day after a long illness, at St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.

He will repose in Stafford’s Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Sunday January 5th, from 2pm to 4pm.

His funeral will be held on Monday, January 6th, at 11am, at St Brigid’s Church, Howth Road, Killester; followed by burial in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.
