Papua New Guinea will be exhibiting at World Travel Market for the first time this November, following the opening of a London office by the Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority earlier this year. Leith Isaac, Director of Marketing for the Authority, is travelling to the UK for the event.
Papua New Guinea is a coveted goal for ornithologists, being home to the Bird’s of Paradise. The renowned Kokoda and Black Cat trails are famous among trekkers, but PNG also offers plenty of other exciting tracks requiring different levels of fitness.
Divers have the opportunity to explore untouched coral reefs as well as World War Two wrecks, all in warm 28-degree waters. Kayaking, kite surfing and fishing are also all readily available.
