Waterford Airport has launched a passenger friendly suite of online and technology services, including a new mobile website, online check-in service, online live flight information and free wi-fi in the terminal building.
Waterford Airport CEO, Graham Doyle said: “We are delighted to launch these improvements aimed at enhancing the convenience we offer to our passengers. In particular, the mobile version of our website is specifically tailored to the needs of passengers with live flights information – so checking on your flight status while on the move is easy.
“Passengers travelling with hand luggage can now also save time in advance of their arrival at the airport with the (free of charge) option to check in online at aerarann.com or through the airport’s website within 72 hours of their departure time and up to three hours prior to the scheduled departure – this will be particularly useful for people travelling to or from the South East on business.
“Wi-fi is a must with many people now travelling with their laptops, tablet computers and smartphones – we are delighted to be able to offer it free of charge to our passengers.”
The brand new mobile suite of technology was developed by Waterford company Cquent Ltd.
Waterford Airport and Aer Arann offer more than 20 flights each week to London Luton and London Southend Airports, with services to Manchester, Birmingham and Galway.
