Northern Ireland Positive for 2013

Northern Ireland Tourist Board representatives came south to meet the travel trade and media at the Mansion House last week. The centrepoint of the event was the Derry City of Culture 2013 – and also causing great excitement was the announcement that the G8 summit meeting is coming to Lough Erne Resort in June 2013.

John O’Neill of Lough Erne Resort confided that business for 2013 has already picked up, with a full calendar of weddings throughout the year.

Addressing the gathering, Arlene Foster MLA, Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment, was very positive that Northern Ireland would be well placed to take advantage of all that the tourism industry is planning for the coming year.

An excellent meal as enjoyed by all who attended and a wonderful 17-year-old pianist enthralled with her beautiful voice and exciting piano playing.
