Sunway has launched a new online booking engine that “offers holidaymakers even more choice – they can search thousands of accommodation and package holiday options to secure the best deal from Ireland”. The engine is a combination of bedbank accommodation and contracted Sunway products – the latter are highlighted as ‘Sunway Favourites’ and tend to cost less, plus Sunway know the product and have a relationship with the hotel. An agents’ model is to follow by the end of the summer – and in the meantime they can book accommodation only over the phone.
