Etihad Airways has unveiled three new incentives as part of its BusinessConnect SME loyalty programme. BusinessConnect is a free mileage-earning programme for companies with between two and 50 business travellers that do not have a corporate contract with Etihad.
The incentives, which all run until 21st July 2013, are:
- The opportunity to win 200,000 Etihad Guest Miles every time a new Etihad Guest member is connected to a BusinessConnect account
- Receiving 1,000 Etihad Guest miles for every new traveller connected
- The ability to earn triple miles on premium cabin bookings
The programme is built on the same platform as the Etihad Guest frequent flyer scheme, allowing registered BusinessConnect customers to earn Etihad Guest miles every time one of their employees takes a flight. Further benefits include the traveller also earning Etihad Guest miles for themselves as normal, and in addition, his/her company earning a percentage of those miles as a bonus.
Etihad Guest miles can be earned on all Etihad Airways tickets, and there are no blackout periods when redeeming miles against upgrades, free flights, or the thousands of products from the Etihad Guest Reward Shop.

Details of Incentives
Incentive 1: Win 200,000 miles to spend any way you choose:
Every time a new Etihad Guest member is connected to a BusinessConnect account before 21st July 2013, the BusinessConnect Administrator will be entered into a draw to win 200,000 miles. The more travellers that are connected, the more chances the Administrator has of winning the 200,000 miles that will be credited to the personal Etihad Guest account of the Administrator.
Incentive 2: Receive 1,000 miles for every new Etihad Guest traveller connected:
BusinessConnect accounts will receive 1,000 miles for every new Etihad Guest traveller that is connected to the account before 21st July 2013.
Incentive 3: Earn double or triple miles with Etihad BusinessConnect:
All travellers connected to a BusinessConnect account that book Coral Economy flights and travel between 26th May and 21st July 2013 will earn double miles for their personal Etihad Guest account. Bookings made in Diamond First and Pearl Business will earn triple miles.
