Nevada has been named as host State for the Ultra X mult-stage ultra marathon for 2024.
This year’s event will take place over 5 days – from October 21-25.
It will pass through two of Nevada’s most famous state parks; Red Rock Conservation Area and Spring Mountain Recreation Area – often described as the mountain range that rises like an island out of the Mojave Desert to the west of Las Vegas.
The 220km marathon will see participants reach an elevation of just over 6,500 metres, exploring the incredible diversity from alpine views and evergreen forests to the low desert basins with cactus and coloured rocks. Entry fee starts at £1,050 per person.
