NCL’s MD for Ireland and UK, Eamonn Ferrin Confirms his Departure

Norwegian Cruise Line’s Vice President for International Sales announced his departure from the company amid thanks to its ‘wonderful’ travel agent partners.

Eamonn joined NCL in 2019 and was promoted to VP of International Sales in 2021.

Eamonn also thanked NCL President Harry Sommer in a LinkedIn post on 30 December for appointing him as Managing Director and Vice-President for the UK and Ireland four years ago.

He was fulsome in his praise for his colleagues and their hard work, especially post-pandemic.

“I pass on my heartfelt thanks to all my wonderful colleagues in the UK, MEA, Brazil, LATAM, India, Europe, Australia & APAC teams and of course, my USA & Canadian colleagues in all areas worldwide for welcoming me as part of the NCL & NCLH team and working so hard with me and each other along the way,” he said.

“It sounds clichéd but it truly is not…you are a huge part of our success past, present and future. The future for the cruise industry is very bright indeed, of that, I have no doubt (especially with the number of new ships coming in the years ahead including the beautiful new Prima class ships).

“So, as we come to the end of an old year and enter a New Year in 2023, I will depart from the NCL family with a wish to you all and an Irish blessing ‘may your days be many, and your troubles few, May peace be within you, may your heart be strong and may you find what you are seeking wherever you roam”’.
