NCL Officially Takes Delivery of 21st Ship ‘Norwegian Luna’

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has officially taken delivery of its 21st ship, Norwegian Luna, in Marghera, Italy.

As the second ship in the next-generation Prima Plus Class, Norwegian Luna is designed to deliver freedom and flexibility across 17 dining options and 1,809 staterooms. Key highlights include:

  • Innovative Attractions: Featuring the Aqua Slidecoaster, the all-new Luna Midway outdoor amusement area, and the Moon Climber obstacle course.
  • Elevated Dining: Includes the new Thai venue Sukhothai and the Indulge Food Hall with nine global flavors.
  • Premium Accommodations: Offers The Haven by Norwegian®, an exclusive ship-within-a-ship retreat with personalized butler service.
  • New Entertainment: Debuting “Elton: A Celebration of Elton John™” and the multimedia show “HIKO: Innovation Meets Wonder™”.

Following her transatlantic voyage, Norwegian Luna arrives in Miami later this month – on 23rd March 2026 – to begin year-round Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries.

Measuring 156,000 gross tons, the 3,565‑passenger ship features 1,809 well-appointed staterooms and an exceptional collection of intentionally designed venues and experiences. With 17 dining options as well as 18 bars and lounges, the ship offers remarkable culinary variety.
