Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is kicking off the summer with good news for travelling sports fans, with the news that they will be showing all 104 Fifa World Cup 26™ games on board this summer.

Taking place between 11th June to 19th July in multiple cities across the United States, Mexico and Canada, every ship across the NCL fleet will be broadcasting live coverage of the tournament, so guests won’t need to miss out on a single goal, penalty decision or trophy-lifting moment while at sea.

Whether guests want to enjoy the games in the comfort of their staterooms, or enjoy some friendly rivalry while watching along with other guests from around the world, football fans can enjoy every piece of the action:

●        Two Dedicated Special Event Channels: All ships will have two channels airing all live matches. This ensures that on certain occasions where matches kick off simultaneously, guests can choose which game to follow.

●        24-Hour Catch-Up: In keeping with NCL’s signature freedom and flexibility concept, working around guests’ own schedules games can be recorded and replayed on board for a 24-hour period.  This means that guests can still head out to enjoy shore excursions or simply relax on deck and still catch up on the full 90 minutes at a time that suits them.

●        Freedom and flexibility: Whilst sports fans will be able to watch the football across designated venues on board, those not tuning in can enjoy plenty of peaceful places to unwind.”

Gary Anslow, Vice President and Head of UK & Ireland at NCL, commented: ”This is a unique moment that unites nations like no other event. Whether guests are cheering for their home team or simply soaking up the exciting spirit of the tournament, we want to make sure no one misses out on these historic moments while exploring the world with us.

“Whether guests are sailing the Caribbean or island-hopping in the Greek Isles, the football will be right there with our guests. This service will be available across all NCL ships, including the newest Prima and Prima Plus Class vessels.”
