Multitrip.com reports that mobile bookings on its website have increased by 223% when compared to 2013. Overall, year-on-year mobile visits increased by 71% with over 3,500 mobile visits in January 2014 alone.
Tablet users of the website increased by 83% and in January 2014 over 3,000 people opted to visit Multitrip.com on a tablet device. The number of tablet bookings has also seen an improvement with an increase of 81%. These figures are in contrast to the number of people choosing to make their bookings online via a desktop computer, which has decreased by 6%.
Although almost 15,000 people chose to visit Multitrip.com on a computer in January 2014, compared to 2013, desktop site visits are down by 8%.
