Milan Scraps ‘Ice Cream and Pizza After Midnight’ Ban; Switches Focus to Late Night Alcohol

Milan has failed in its latest bid to ban the consumption of ice cream and pizza after midnight.

The city’s council hit global headlines with its plan, earlier this month; having previously failed in the same bid a decade ago.

However, the city elders have now backed down after intense criticism by locals and tourists, alike.

The council wanted to keep the city peaceful for residents. However, even though it is still allowing pizza and ice cream; the ban will focus on drink consumption – particularly alcohol.
