Amid speculation that the company’s parent, Sabre Corporation, is seeking to sell lastminute.com, Mark Maddock, Managing Director UK and Ireland, has left the company. 
A company statement said: “We want to thank Mark for his contribution over the past years. While it is disappointing to lose a valued leader of the business, we will not be replacing Mark’s role – lastminute.com Chief Executive Matthew Crummack is overseeing the overall business.”
Mark joined lastminute.com in 2002 from Holiday Autos as Hotel Product Director, and was appointed Managing Director UK and Ireland in 2010.
