Kinsale-based specialist travel agent Magic Vacations has been named ‘Ireland Travel Agent of the Year’ at the prestigious TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies Awards, held in Manchester.
Run by husband and wife team John and Maria Barrett, Magic Vacations started life, in 2008, as a Disneyland Paris-focused travel agent. It now acts as Irish partner to the likes of LEGOLAND Windsor, Chessington World of Adventures Resort and Alton Towers.

Specialising in Family Theme Park Holidays Magic Vacations’ programme has now grown to include Walt Disney World Orlando, Universal Orlando, LEGOLAND Resort Windsor, Chessington World of Adventures, Alton Towers, Lapland, Portaventura, EFTELING in Holland. Magic also sells theme park tickets and has a successful cruise division.
The company also recently launched its new Magic Vacations Worldwide product which will cover land and sea holidays in Dubai, Asia and beyond.
