Following an increase in demand from the Irish, UK, and North American markets, lowcostbeds is rapidly expanding its hotel portfolio in the Caribbean. By tripling the number of directly contracted hotels in Jamaica, it now has an extensive range of 3-star, 4-star and 5-star properties across 350 hotels on the island, offering all board options.

In December 2013 lowcostbeds will be seeing the opening of one of its flagship properties in Montego Bay, the 4-star Garden Beach Resort offering all inclusive stays, set in tropical gardens with direct beach access and a 4.5-star Trip Advisor rating.

Lowcostbeds is predicting further passenger growth in the Dominican Republic, Aruba, Puerto Rico and Bahamas and therefore enhanced its adult-only hotels in Barbados. Recent additions include Couples Barbados, The Club Barbados and more. Additionally family-focused hotels in Antigua have also been increased with the inclusion of properties such as Jolly Beach, Grand Pineapple, St James’s Club and the Verandah.

Clem Walshe, Managing Director for Ireland, USA and Canada, said: “We are excited about the Caribbean overall. As we look across our portfolio of 150,000 hotels, the region represents excellent value for money for North American and European customers. As such, it is key for us that we triple the amount of hotels we offer our travel agent partners.”

Lowcostbeds.com is a global, independent, trade only bed bank, live in 35 countries and 13 languages. Established in 2004, it provides agents and websites with access to the vast range of high quality accommodation from around the world, via a website that agents can log into, or, access easily via a direct xml connection.
