Lowcostbeds.ie has just launched a pre-season summer sale to help agents boost bookings between now and the end of May. It has dropped prices across a wide range of popular destinations, including the Algarve, the Canaries, Majorca, Costa del Sol, Costa Daurada and the Costa Brava for all bookings made up to 31st May 2012.
Clem Walshe, Managing Director of Lowcosttravelgroup Ireland, said: “Trading conditions continue to remain challenging for travel agents. Business was very good in January but sales have dipped since February and it is unlikely that there will be any significant increase in consumer demand between now and Easter.
“The big challenge for agents now is to convince customers to book early – and we want to play our part to help boost trade sales over that period.”
