Lowcostbeds.com has expanded its hotel count in Brazil following a growth in demand from North American and European markets.
After launching lowcostbeds in Brazil earlier this year, the company decided to further develop its portfolio in one of the world’s fastest growing global economies to offer its travel partners in Europe and North America the best possible hotels and rates. In the past three months lowcostbeds has increased its hotel count in Brazil by around 50%. With its website accessible in 13 languages, lowcostbeds now has a range of over 6,000 unique hotels in Brazil available to the trade.
Clem Walshe, lowcostbeds Managing Director in Ireland, said: “Next year’s World Cup, the 2016 Olympics and the resulting increase of air lift from Europe, the Middle East and beyond has made Brazil a hot destination. We had to react to the demand of our global distribution to get Brazil product ahead of the competition.”
Last year Brazil welcomed in excess of over five million visitors, a growth of 4.5% on 2011. With its great beaches, exceptional attractions and diverse culture, Brazil is the gateway to South America and passenger growth is predicted to scale up over the coming months.
