London City Airport has been voted one of the world’s 10 most scenic airport landings in a poll conducted by private jet booking company PrivateFly.com. The Airport Approaches poll was conducted in December 2012 and results were generated by PrivateFly website users and from social media invitations across a range of global sites. A total of 1,711 votes were received, with 83 different airports receiving a nomination.

As the only airport actually in London, we are unique in that aircraft descend right in front of Canary Wharf and on approach passengers are left in no doubt about how close they are to England’s capital city and its many iconic landmarks.
