London City Airport has been voted the Best Airport in the UK in the prestigious Condé Nast Traveller UK Readers’ Choice Awards 2025, recognising its exceptional customer experience.

The award highlights London City’s commitment to offering speed, accessibility and comfort all within minutes of central London.

Alison FitzGerald, CEO of London City Airport, said: “We are truly honoured to be recognised by the readers of Condé Nast Traveller, and this award is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire team and our mission to be the airport everyone loves.

“Over the past few years, we have increasingly become a popular airport for leisure travellers, and we’re taking steps to expand our routes and destinations so more passengers use us for their holidays.”

London City serves over 30 destinations across the UK and Europe including leisure destinations like Ibiza, Palma and Sardinia, and is working closely with airline partners to broaden its network and provide more global connectivity through key hubs like Amsterdam and Rome. British Airways also recently announced it is commencing a new regular service to Madrid from London City, starting in December.

The airport’s recently upgraded terminal features 30% more seating, premium dining and retail choices, and a streamlined security process supported by next-generation CT scanners that allow passengers to keep items in their bag, which have halved queue times. London City is also consistently recognised as London’s most punctual airport, ensuring travellers can rely on speed and efficiency from start to finish.

This award for London City Airport follows two other recent accolades, with The Daily Telegraph and Which? both naming it ‘London’s Best Airport’.
