From 11th July to 30th August 2014, around 2,500 people a day will be able to enjoy Kooza, a show that takes you back to the origins of circus and brings together two of the most popular circus traditions – acrobatic performance and the art of clowning.

In Kooza your clients will discover the story of Innocent, a melancholic loner who is looking for his place in the world. His journey moves between strength and fragility, laughter and smiles, turmoil and harmony, and explores themes of fear, identity, recognition and power. The show is set in an electrifying and exotic visual universe full of surprises, emotions, chills and daring that will thrill the whole family.

PortAventura is the first resort in Europe to host a Cirque du Soleil show. This puts it on a par with the world’s most important cities in which the company is already installed, including Paris, New York, Moscow, London and Las Vegas.

Now the Costa Daurada is welcoming the spectacle of the Cirque du Soleil, a top international entertainment company with its origins in Canada. Its mission, in its own words, is to seduce the imagination, stimulate the senses and appeal to the emotions of the audience and we will be able to see all this in PortAventura’s Mediterrània area.

This year we can add the circus to the theme park’s more than 30 rides, 15 daily shows, 75 places to eat and 27 shops. All this can be found in six themed areas that include SésamoAventura, a special area for the smallest members of the family, and Costa Caribe Aquatic Park.

And there’s more! In its desire to incorporate novelties designed to make family holidays unforgettable year after year, in addition to the Cirque du Soleil, this season PortAventura is premiering its latest attraction ‘Angkor, Adventure in the Lost Kingdom’. Intrepid visitors will enter a world of naval battles in the longest boat ride circuit in Europe.

Now all these unique experiences can be enjoyed in the company of an expert PortAventura Park guide. All you need to do is concentrate on enjoying the thrills and excitement as your guide bypasses the queues and takes you straight into the rides and shows. They will also tell you about the history of the resort and help you make restaurant reservations.

The fun never ends either in PortAventura or its surroundings, which are full of surprises just waiting to be discovered. That’s why the resort offers guests staying in its various hotels the chance to rent bicycles and explore the coast of the Costa Daurada, Salou, La Pineda, Vila-seca and Cambrils. Discover their seafront promenades, beaches, emblematic spots and nature areas, while enjoying the excellent weather and the sun that shines all year round.
