Legoland Opens Next Week in Florida

Legoland Florida, complete with 50 million Lego bricks, will open its gates in Orlando on 15th October 2011 with 50 rides, shows and attractions. A 45-minute shuttle will depart daily at 9am from Orlando Premium Outlets at Vineland Avenue and return in the evening after the park closes. To ensure a seat on the bus, guests must book their transportation on the Legoland website.

“Legoland Florida is a hands-on, interactive theme park and we think education should be no different,” said Kim Isemann, Director of Sales and Marketing. “By showcasing maths and science in a fun and interactive way, we are aiming to change the way our students view these sometimes difficult subjects.”

From learning about how structures are made and what makes them strong in Tall Towers to Amazing Machines where students build their own amazing machine equipped with gears, levers, pulleys and motors, teachers can find just the right programme to match what they are learning about in the classroom.
