Lee Haslett, VP of Global Sales at Virgin Atlantic to Leave after 14 Years

Lee Haslett, Vice President of Global Sales at Virgin Atlantic has announced he is leaving the airline after working there for 14 years.

Virgin Atlantic has said that Mr Haslett is looking for new opportunities outside the aviation sector.

Mr Haslett joined the Virgin Atlantic group in 2008, heading the holiday retail expansion, before moving into a variety of other roles across the business, including Head of Retail, VP of Product & Distribution, and latterly, Vice President of Global Sales.

In a statement, Juha Jarvinen, the airline’s chief commercial officer, said: “I would like to thank Lee for his tremendous contribution over the last 14 years.

“He has been instrumental in rebuilding our revenues as we recover from the pandemic, leading the sales transformation plan and he has played an important role in my commercial leadership team. 

“We will be recruiting for the VP global sales role both internally and externally. Lee will be with us until the end of February 2023, and we wish him well in his future endeavours, as he moves into an exciting new opportunity in the spring.”
