JetBlue Further Shakes Up Transatlantic Market with New York-Paris Route Targeting Business and Leisure Users

US budget airline JetBlue has added further competition to the already busy Europe to US transatlantic market by launching a new route from New York/JFK to Paris/Charles de Gaulle.

A total of 8 airlines now cover the competitive New York-Paris route, and JetBlue – which already flies from the East Coast of the US to London – is planning to start flying between New York and Amsterdam later this year.

JetBlue chief executive Robin Hayes said: “JetBlue’s arrival into Paris is poised to disrupt the market once again with our award-winning service and low fares, bringing a fresh and innovative choice in transatlantic flying to a new European audience.

“We look forward to continuing to prove that customers don’t have to compromise great service for a low fare. We are excited to bring our highly acclaimed Mint and Core onboard service to both business and leisure customers travelling to and from Paris.”
