Irish Ferries Supports Charity Walk, Appoints New CFO

Irish Ferries is lending its support to this year’s 10th annual ‘Harbour2Harbour’ St Patrick’s Day walk from Howth to Dun Laoghaire in aid of the charity Aware – and has appointed David Ledwidge to the position of Chief Financial Officer. The tenth annual Aware Harbour2Harbour Walk takes place on St. Patrick¹s Day-090
At an event held onboard Irish Ferries’ vessel ‘Ulysses’ to announce details of this year’s walk, were Aware Ambassadors Rugby Star Fergus McFadden and Senator David Norris with Aware’s Amo Sayed (left), Irish Ferries’ newly appointed Managing Director Andrew Sheen, and Irish Ferries Marketing Manager Daragh O’Reilly.

David Ledwidge, Chief Financial Officer, Irish Continental Group
David Ledwidge is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Bachelor of Science graduate from Dublin Institute of Technology. He joined Irish Continental Group from accountants Deloitte in 2006 and has held various financial positions, first as Group Risk Accountant followed by his appointment as Irish Ferries Financial Controller. In 2013, he was appointed Irish Ferries Finance Director.
