Irish Ferries has a spring sale price offer on sailings to France that sees two adults and car travel from Rosslare to Cherbourg and Roscoff for €99 each way. Another enables children to travel free on all routes to Britain.
Valid for travel seven days in advance up to 28th May 28th and from 24th August – 16th December, the Spring Sale to France offer applies to bookings made by 19th May. Arrival times into France are early morning, designed to allow motorists to reach their destination on the same day and eliminate costly overnight stops en route.
As well as free wi-fi onboard, the cruise ferry Oscar Wilde is equipped with a choice of 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-star cabins, a selection of restaurants and lounges, two cinemas, a Piano Bar and Café, promenade decks and entertainment that includes a children’s play area, gaming zone and facilities such as a hair and beauty saloon and mall-style shopping.
Kids Go Free to Britain
News likely to appeal to parents planning a break to Britain this year is the announcement from Irish Ferries of a ‘Family-Friendly’ offer that sees children go free on all of its routes to Britain.
Under the arrangement, mum and dad are the only ones who pay when families travel by car on Irish Ferries’ cruise ferry services from Dublin to Holyhead and Rosslare to Pembroke. Children under five are free too.
Not limited by numbers, all children up to the age of 15 can travel free-of-charge up until 17th December 2015, inclusive of weekend sailings, peak July and August holidays and school mid-terms.
The offer applies to new motorist bookings made before 19th May.
