Irish Ferries is appealing to gardening groups thinking of travelling to the Chelsea Flower Show in London from 21st – 25th May and is offering a cruise ferry SailRail fare of €95 per person from Dublin to London. Prices are inclusive of all taxes and no hidden extras or baggage restrictions.
The company said: “Travelling by ferry, passengers can experience high-class facilities and services that have given sea travel a new sense of chic that passengers in general, and young people in particular, are taking to in greater numbers. Typical of these is the availability of Club Class facilities where passengers are pampered at every point with priority boarding and exclusive seating in a reserved lounge where the offering includes complimentary nibbles and refreshments, free wi-fi and daily newspapers.
“Add to this the numerous other little luxuries that transform a crossing into a cruise – cinemas, mall shopping, children’s play areas, plush lounges, boutique restaurants and suchlike – and one gets what Irish Ferries believes is ‘an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern air travel’.
“Travelling without the hassle of baggage restrictions, by rail passengers can reserve seats in advance then sit back, relax in pleasant surroundings and enjoy the view. Coupled with options such as free wi-fi, trolley and/or buffet dining service, chair sockets allow passengers to watch a movie, work on a laptop or charge a phone.”
As in previous years, it is expected that this year’s Chelsea Flower Show will attract a high level of Irish interest, both from exhibitors and visitors.
