What’s got three restaurants, two lounge bars, two cinemas showing latest Hollywood releases, 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-star rooms, one piano bar, one children’s play area, mall-style shopping, café, gaming area, hair and beauty salon, wi-fi Internet access, free children’s entertainment, nightly cabaret performances, and late-night disco?
That’s the question Irish Ferries is asking holidaymakers to consider next time they think of travelling to France. The answer, of course, is the cruise ferry ‘Oscar Wilde’, which operates services from Rosslare to Cherbourg and Roscoff.
Head of Passenger Sales Declan Mescall said: “This question is extremely valid given that holidaymakers thinking of travelling to France are sometimes lulled into believing that all services are the same, whereas the opposite is true. That’s why we say that travelling with us, your crossing really becomes a cruise.”
