Responsible and sustainable travel specialist Intrepid Travel, has expanded its agent facing industry team with two new hires covering the UK and Ireland markets.
Scott Tyrer joins Intrepid as Industry Partnerships Manager (North), while Holly Piggott joins as Industry Partnerships Manager (South).
Ms Piggott will start in October, moving from APT Travel Group where she is currently a Trade Sales Executive.Mr Tyrer has begun in his role and brings with him 15 years of experience working in the travel industry, most previously as Business Development Manager at Venture Ashore.
Mr Tyrer said: “Intrepid is a brand I have sold throughout my career, and I have always loved how their trips get you to feel the pulse of a destination. Not only do they provide amazing experiences, but their sustainability policies and charitable causes are something that separate them from the rest and I am proud to be a part of.”
Joanna Reeve, Intrepid’s head of partnerships, said: “We’re very excited to be welcoming Holly and Scott, who both bring great experience and knowledge to the team. They’ll help us to increase Intrepid’s presence across the UK & Ireland and provide an extra layer of support for agents, as we continue to invest and target further growth in the region.”
Intrepid has also recently launched its brand-new agent hub, which is the home for everything agents need to sell Intrepid – including video modules and news about upcoming campaigns and sales.
