InteleTravel Ireland Sees Huge Growth in Cruise Holiday Bookings

InteleTravel has revealed a 167% increase in cruise turnover in Ireland in the first eight months of thios year compared to the same period in 2024.

The number of bookings also increased by 180%, supported by a 129% rise in the number of advisors booking cruise.

The huge growth comes ahead of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) National Cruise Week event, which the group is supporting with a range of initiatives for advisors.

A comprehensive programme of training to support advisors includes cruise webinars, a special edition newsletter, hot deals, cruise interviews on Facebook and increased social media activity.

InteleTravel Ireland country manager Ann-Marie Durkin said: “We are thrilled with this increase, and particularly pleased that an increasing number of our advisors are focussing on cruising, as we have only been in Ireland for two years. The figures confirm our focus on cruise training is effective, which should be music to the ears of our partners.

“We are ramping up our training programme further to help advisors, especially those new to cruise, to build confidence with cruise processing, so we expect this growth trajectory to continue.”
